highfalutin' fools

i came into my haven today, with the fresh rants, from some highfalutin' owners of raspy vocal chords, to serve as a welcome as i walked into the room. they're arguing about music. (as if it's a valid topic for one!)
a very blessedly special person told me--reprimanded could be the more suitable word-- to not judge music and musicians. however,the deal here is, one has to know know which is music and which is merely low commercial sh*t.
back to the raspy rants of so-called knowledge... well... one can't dislike punk just because it's punk... nor should they dislike reggae for what it is. not being able to understand and then accept is quite a loss, a futility. especially in music--if one judges music, one commits the big mistake of (1)judging its existence; and (2) judging another person's capacity for freedom, for expressing it...what the hell... i need coffee... not making much sense nymore... grrr..!
